So in case you can't tell from the pictures, I sliced my finger open. I was opening a chicken can and my finger got sliced by the sharp edge on the lid. Such a dumb story, I am still mad about it. So, Kenny was here and drove me to the hospital and Brian gave me 3 stitches. Kenny wanted to see Brian in his "element."
That gives me the cringies.
ReplyDeleteYou didn't even mention the big red lump that you have on your arm from the tetanus shot that you got after.
ReplyDeletedave, focus on the positive--no copay!
ReplyDeleteThat was Brian's comment- he's logged in as me!
ReplyDeleteI must agree that the no copay was nice, but I think that Jenni appreciated the little to no wait time the most.
ReplyDeletePlus, she also got to see you "in your element", so I think that it secretly made both her and Kenny's day.
time to start growing your own chickens. Overalls for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteseriously, brian, that's the worst closure I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteJust kidding.
That is so not fun!!! But, I guess it's another story to add to your story book. Right? (grin)
ReplyDeleteHope you guys had a great Thanksgiving..
♥ OH...and way cute family pics ♥

You are totally brave! It would still freak me out to have Dr. Brian work on me, to weird!! Did he give you the shot too? At least you have preferential treatment :)
ReplyDeleteyes he gave me the shot too! my arm is starting to feel better now though...it was pretty bad for a few days.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, you poor girl! I sliced 3 fingertips on the foil of a can of frosting last Tuesday while I was opening it to frost Jon's cake and that hurt like heck...it was like a horrible paper cut! I hope your finger is better! Luckily Brian could stitch you up!
ReplyDeleteUgh. I did that in college with a Spaghettios can! No one was in the apartment and we didn't have any bandaids, so I was walking down to my friend's place a few doors down and fainted on the walkway, bleeding profusely from my finger! I was famous for a little while after that :-)
ReplyDeleteThat makes me want to throw up. I bet that hurt pretty good.
ReplyDeleteaww.. poor jenni!! u are certainly tough. I didnt even know Brian was a DR. What feild of medicine does he practice?
