Prom Night

Ok so Mountain View's Prom was about 2 weeks ago. I drug Dave along with me to see my students at the prom and to "chaperone." I felt like the biggest fish out of water. I couldn't dance and have fun. I had to be the narky (sp?) teacher. I keep thinking I am still just like these high schoolers, and I catch myself trying to like joke around with them. I know it's stupid, but it is just taking a while for me to come to terms with being Mrs. Johansen. Weird, I know. Afterall, the last prom I went to was my own! Anyway, it was fun. We ate at PF Changs before with our good friends, Cami and Mark. That was yumm-o. Mark had a piece of glass or something in his Mongolian Beef so the manager discounted our entire meal. Dave and I got out of there for under 20 bucks! Sweet!

Gosh darn it Dave, there you go again, ordering the brown rice without my permission. Darn you to heck!

The fact that I order brown rice also saddens me, but I think Popeye said it best, "I am what I am."
