Go Spartans!

Not everyone is probably as excited about this post as me, but just bear with me for a few nostalgic moments. So, I have been finding myself with an excess of free time lately (since school is out for summer) and have been looking for things to do. Anyway, I came across a book on my shelf (The Color Purple) that I have been intending to read for the longest time, and just never got around to it. Well, I cracked it open last night and the receipt came flying out. Apparently I bought this book in May of 2002. Happens to be the year I graduated. I got to thinking about how fast 5 years has flown by all the while I have carted this book with me from Torrance to BYU and now to Tucson and still have not read the dang thing. But this isn't the point of my story, keep reading. So, anyway. I spent most of today cleaning and organizing stuff. And, coincedentally came across my yearbook. Interestingly enough, graduation day was June 20 or 21st for South High which would make today a 5 year anniversary! So after reading all of the signature pages and looking up all of the pictures of myself in yearbook (I know, I know...I am a little self-interested at times), I found myself in the back of my closet wondering if my cheerleading uniforms still fit 5 years later. I am sure you can guess what you are about to see next. Please indulge me for just another moment while you feast your eyes on my cheerleader self who is still small enough to put this uniform on!! I don't want to commit, but I think it would be fun to do this again in 5 years just to continue the gauge of how I am doing. By that point, I will likely have a post-baby bod, so we'll see.
